Pursuit Attractions and Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a part-time cook to join our busy kitchen in Whitefish, MT. You will prepare and cook menu items to recipe standards, set up prep stations, and support banquet and event food production as needed.

We value teamwork and strong communication as you work with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure consistent quality. This role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with on-call shifts and a starting wage of $22.50/hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hot line experience in a high-volume or fine dining kitchen.
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques and knife skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and quality standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain prep and line stations for efficient service.
• Support banquet, wedding, and special event food production as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including the dish machine when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and comply with all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with prep, cleaning, and other kitchen duties as needed.
• Support daily kitchen operations and perform other duties as assigned.
