Job summary

Prince George’s County Department of Family Services is seeking a part-time Nutrition Site Coordinator (Community Development Aide 1G) for the Aging and Disabilities Division. The role runs 9 am to 2 pm at congregate dining sites within Prince George’s County.

The position requires a 10th grade education, county residency, and a valid driver’s license. Within six months, the incumbent must obtain either the Food Service Manager Certification or Serve Safe Certification and renew every three

Completion of the tenth (10th) school grade.
Must be a Prince George's County resident.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, sanitary environment for meals at Nutrition Sites and ensure food safety standards.
Maintain accurate weekly meal reports and submit reports to the administrative office.
Email accurate weekly meal orders and manage the reservation list of participants.
Safely receive and hot-hold all food items at required temperatures and serve meals to program clients.
Coordinate with Senior Center staff to plan resources and support special events and meals.
Assist with participant registration and volunteer training; verify timesheets as needed.
Pursue Food Service Manager Certification within 6 months of employment and renew every 3 years as required.
Support program operations during staff shortages and assist with data collection and surveys.
