Job summary

Serving Seniors is seeking a Nutrition Site Coordinator for the Potiker Family Senior Residence in San Diego. This role supports day-to-day dining operations, serves as a liaison with food vendors, and helps manage meal donations and client counts with the Site Manager.

It also involves engaging with seniors, volunteers, and the community. The position is part-time (8:30am–2:00pm) at the site, with responsibilities including menu distribution and outreach support to promote services.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.
• Previous kitchen or similar environment experience preferred.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite applications.
• Driver's license required to drive company vehicle if needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day food service at the site.
• Act as liaison with all food service vendors.
• Oversee collection of daily meal donations.
• Provide accurate daily/weekly accounting of clients served to Site Manager.
• Act as concierge to seniors, guests and volunteers in the dining room.
• Distribute monthly menus and support program outreach.
