Job summary

Prince George’s County Department of Family Services is seeking a part-time Nutrition Site Coordinator to oversee congregate meal operations at senior dining sites in the county. The role emphasizes food safety, record-keeping, and ensuring meals are served during the core hours of 9 am to 2 pm.

The position requires 10th grade completion, county residency, and a valid driver's license, with Serve-Safe/food-service certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Completion of the tenth grade is required.
• Must be a Prince George's County resident and have a valid driver's license.
• Certified Food Service Manager or Serve-Safe certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, hospitable and sanitary environment for program clients to consume meals at nutrition sites.
• Maintain accurate weekly meal records and deposits; submit reports to the admin office.
• Coordinate recruitment, training and supervision of nutrition program volunteers and staff.
• Safely serve meals to eligible participants during the 9 am–2 pm core hours.
• Assist with data collection, participant registration, and program events as needed.
