Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, Mayo Clinic – Eau Claire, WI, is seeking a part-time Nutrition Operator to secure patient meal selections and handle special requests via telephone or in-person interactions. Schedules are 2:00 pm–7:00 pm or 3:00 pm–7:00 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous patient and/or call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for securing patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face to face interactions.
• Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences.
• Interacts with nursing to ensure patients diet prescriptions are accurate, and patients food needs are met.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety.
