Responsibilities

• Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals.
• Offers alternatives to menu within prescribed diets considering allergies and cultural preferences.
• Resolves patient concerns or complaints promptly and reports needed assistance to supervisor.
• Ensures dietary restrictions and diet orders are respected and coordinated with nursing.
• Adheres to HIPAA and facility confidentiality policies.
