Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN nursing students. The role requires an MSN or higher and an active RN license in the applicable state, with a minimum of 3 years of RN experience.

The instructor will evaluate student performance, develop professional behaviors, and coordinate with clinical partners to ensure student success. Prior teaching experience and LMS familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Experience with nursing education or teaching preferred.
• Experience with LMS and educational technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence.
• Prepare accurate progress reports and attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
