The successful candidate will have an MSN, pediatric clinical experience or teaching, and an active California RN license.

Qualifications

MSN from a regionally accredited institution.
At least one year of pediatrics clinical bedside nursing or clinical teaching in the last 5 years.
Must have a current, unencumbered CA RN license.
Preferred: Terminal degree (PhD in Nursing or DNP).
1+ years of higher education teaching experience in a nursing program.

Responsibilities

Lead pediatric sessions at clinical placement sites.
Provide timely, substantive feedback to students on assessments.
Maintain a positive, inclusive student-centric learning environment.
Complete required tasks on deadlines (grades, assessment, rubrics, grade appeals).
Maintain professional training and scholarly activities when applicable.
Provide feedback to the course lead regarding course content.
Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
Some indirect patient care in skills/simulation labs.
