The role requires an MSN, CA RN license, and teaching experience.

Qualifikationen

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least one year of continuous clinical bedside nursing experience in Obstetric & Mother–Baby Nursing within the last 5 years, or at least one year of clinical teaching experience within the last 5 years.
• Current, unencumbered CA Registered Nursing license.
• Preferred: Terminal degree (Ph.D. in Nursing or DNP) from a nationally accredited or regionally accredited university.
• 1+ years of higher education teaching experience in a nursing program.
• Experience teaching adult learners.

Aufgaben

• Lead sessions at clinical placement sites.
• Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on various assessment activities.
• Maintain a positive, safe, inclusive student-centric learning environment.
• Complete required tasks on deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessment, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals, etc.).
• Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, when applicable.
• Provide feedback to the course lead regarding the course content.
• Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services.
• Some indirect patient care is also performed in the skills and simulation lab.
