National University invites applications for part-time faculty to conduct Pediatrics clinicals for the BSN program at placement sites throughout Fresno, CA. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching and commitment to serving a diverse adult student body.

This role works with the Academic Program Director and other nursing faculty to ensure program quality, student engagement, and success. Some clinical skills/lab work may occur in Fresno labs.

Qualifications

• MSN from regionally accredited institution.
• 1+ year of continuous bedside nursing experience in acute care within last 5 years OR 1+ year of clinical teaching experience within last 5 years.
• Current, unrestricted CA RN license.

Responsibilities

• Lead sessions at clinical placement sites.
• Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on assessments.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive student-centric learning environment.
• Complete deadlines for grades, assessments, and rubrics.
• Identify at-risk students and coordinate with student services.
• Some indirect patient care in Fresno skills/simulation labs.
