Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Independence, OH is seeking a part-time Nursing Faculty to instruct students in courses, labs and clinicals, contributing to curriculum planning and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing is required.
• Three years of full-time nursing experience as a registered nurse is required.
• Active Ohio RN license that has never been encumbered is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Instructs nursing students in assigned courses, on-campus labs, and/or clinicals according to the course plan.
• Works collaboratively with College staff to ensure full curriculum implementation and alignment with outcomes.
• Directs and supervises clinical faculty and teaching assistants; coordinates with clinical sites to ensure quality experiences.
• Evaluates student achievement and progress and provides tutoring or intervention as needed.
