Job summary

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville's College of Nursing invites applications for an Adjunct Clinical Professor (Assistant, Associate, or Full) to contribute to undergraduate and/or graduate nursing education, including clinical supervision. Appointments are semester-to-semester based on teaching needs.

Responsibilities include instruction, student assessment, and collaboration on clinical placements and curriculum revisions. Open rank contingent on education and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate (PhD or DNP) at time of appointment.
• Licensure as a registered nurse in Tennessee prior to employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing practice experience.
• Effective interpersonal skills and cultural competence.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the ongoing development, implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of nursing academic programs.
• Teach graduate and undergraduate nursing courses as assigned and supervise students.
• Participate in curriculum revisions and evaluate curricula.
• Collaborate on inter-professional opportunities across the university and community.
