The University of Tennessee, Knoxville College of Nursing invites applications for an Adjunct Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (part-time) to contribute to educating the next generation of health care professionals, including undergraduate and/or graduate education and clinical supervision. Appointments are made semester-by-semester, contingent on teaching needs.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate (PhD or DNP) at time of appointment.
• Licensure as a registered nurse in Tennessee prior to employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing practice experience.
• Effective interpersonal skills and cultural competence.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, evaluate, and enhance nursing programs.
• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses as assigned.
• Supervise nursing students as assigned.
• Participate in curriculum evaluation and enhancement.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop inter-professional opportunities.
