Job summary

Carolinas College of Health Sciences in Charlotte is seeking an Academic Associate in Nursing to facilitate educational experiences, teach and advise students, and contribute to curriculum development and student retention within the academic program.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, an active RN license, and at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience; teaching in a pre-licensure program is preferred. This is a part-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current or eligible state RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience.
• Experience teaching in a pre-licensure nursing program preferred.
• Education/certification in nursing education or related continuing education required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches and facilitates student learning in clinical settings, online or in-person.
• Builds degree programs with coherent courses of study.
