Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Maumee, OH is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Faculty with an MSN to instruct students in multiple modalities and guide them toward successful outcomes. You will evaluate performance and ensure program integrity, while maintaining regular office hours for student support.

The role requires teaching experience, an active Ohio RN license, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred; minimum of 3 years in field.
• 3 years’ experience as a registered nurse.
• Active Ohio RN license that has never been encumbered.
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, peers and community partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must provide professional licenses and certifications required for clinical compliance.
• MSN is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in courses that align with qualifications and areas of expertise as assigned by the school.
• Ensure all instructional activities, required contact hours, and delivery responsibilities meet modality and accreditation standards.
• Maintain weekly office hours for student guidance and feedback.
• Demonstrate consistent instructional presence across modalities.
• Support achievement of student learning outcomes and NCLEX preparation.
• Full-time faculty are expected to teach a full workload; part-time faculty may teach up to 30 hours/week.
• Attend campus meetings, faculty team meetings, and designated events.
• Participate in credentialing for clinical placements and related requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
