Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a dynamic part-time on-site Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Maumee campus. This role allows you to continue working in the field while exploring Academia and mentoring the next generation of nurses.

Essential duties include leading lab or clinical sessions, evaluating student progress, and contributing to curriculum committees. A BSN and active Ohio RN license with BLS are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; state licensure requirements apply.
Three or more years of full-time RN experience (or part-time equivalent).
Active State of Ohio RN licensure with no encumbrances.
Official transcripts for each degree earned.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Instruct students in a lab or off-campus clinical setting as needed.
Promote a positive learning environment and ensure full instruction of the clinical component.
Create high student engagement by planning the clinical experience.
Supervise and orient students to clinical sites and policies.
Evaluate student achievement and provide feedback.
Participate in Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
