Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Dayton, OH is seeking a part-time on-site Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program at our Dayton campus. This role offers the opportunity to continue practicing in the field while engaging in academia.

In this position you will instruct students in labs or clinical settings, supervise trainees, and help shape the clinical curriculum through collaboration with faculty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Three or more years full-time RN experience.
• Active State of MI RN licensure.
• Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in a lab setting or off campus in a clinical setting as needed.
• Promote a positive learning environment and work collaboratively to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
• Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site and applicable policies and procedures.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing feedback.
• Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
