Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Dayton, OH is seeking a part-time on-site Clinical Instructor to teach within the Nursing program on our Dayton campus. This role allows you to remain active in the field while contributing to the next generation of nurses.

The position involves instructing in lab and clinical settings, promoting a positive learning environment, and engaging students throughout the clinical curriculum. A BSN and RN licensure are required, with MI licensure noted for verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Three or more years full-time work experience as an RN.
• Active State of MI RN licensure that has never been encumbered.
• Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in a lab setting or off campus in a clinical setting as needed.
• Promote a positive learning environment and collaborate to assure full instruction of the clinical component of the curriculum.
• Create a high level of student engagement by planning the student clinical experience.
• Supervise and orient students to the clinical site and applicable policies.
• Evaluate each student’s achievement and progress, providing feedback.
• Participate as a member of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
