Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 7P Third Shift on 3E, a 19-bed telemetry unit focusing on neurology and medical cardiology. Under supervision of an RN, you provide direct patient care, assist with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and positioning, and help manage patient flows and documentation.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, KY Nurse Aide Certification (or first-year nursing study with clinical rotation), and Basic Life Support within 30 days

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• KY Nurse Aide Certification or completion of first year of nursing program with clinical rotation.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Provides direct patient care including hygiene, mobility, toileting, feeding, and positioning.
• Obtains and documents vital signs, intake/output, weights, specimens, and other patient data.
• Performs delegated clinical procedures such as blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and venipuncture.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, and procedures; maintains charts and orders.
• Maintains supplies/equipment and a safe patient care environment; responds to patient needs and emergencies.
