Baptist Health in Lexington is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Assistant for the 3G/H telemetry/medical-surgical unit. The role supports RN staff with direct patient care, hygiene, mobility and daily activities while assisting with data collection and basic procedures on a busy unit.

Responsibilities include vitals, specimen handling, EKGs and venipuncture, along with admissions, transfers and discharges. Requires KY Nurse Aide Certification and a high school diploma; BLS must be obtained within 30

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Current KY Nurse Aide Certification, or completion of first year of nursing program with clinical rotation validation.
• BLS certification required or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care including hygiene, mobility, toileting, feeding and positioning.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, weights, specimens and other patient data.
• Perform delegated clinical procedures such as blood glucose monitoring, EKGs and venipuncture.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges and with physician orders.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and a safe patient care environment.
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies with compassionate, respectful care.
