Job summary
Baptist Health in Lexington, KY seeks a part-time Nursing Assistant for the 3G & H telemetry/medical-surgical unit. You will work on the third shift providing direct patient care under RN supervision, assisting with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and charting.

Qualifications
- KY Nurse Aide Certification or completion of first year of nursing program with clinical validation.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care (hygiene, mobility, toileting, feeding, positioning).
- Document vital signs, intake/output, weights, specimens and other data.
- Perform delegated procedures (blood glucose, EKGs, venipuncture).
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges and procedures.
- Handle clerical/unit coordination tasks (charts, physician orders).
- Maintain supplies, equipment and a safe care environment.
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies with compassionate care.
