Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for the First Shift on the 3E telemetry unit, a 19-bed ward focused on neurology and medical cardiology care. You will assist with admissions, vital signs, and direct patient care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include hygiene, mobility, feeding, documenting data, and supporting the care team while maintaining a safe environment for patients and families.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• KY Nurse Aide Certification or completion of first year Nursing program with clinical rotation.
• Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Provide direct patient care including hygiene, mobility, toileting, feeding and positioning.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, weights and specimens.
• Perform delegated clinical procedures such as blood glucose monitoring, EKGs and venipuncture.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges and procedures.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and a safe patient care environment.
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies with compassionate care.
