Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the 3G&H telemetry unit on the night shift. You will provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and document data under RN supervision.

This role requires a High school diploma or GED and current KY Nurse Aide Certification; Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already held.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care duties including hygiene, mobility, toileting, feeding, and positioning.
• Accurate vital signs collection and documentation.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort while supporting care team.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including hygiene, mobility, toileting, feeding, and positioning.
• Obtains and documents vital signs, input/output, weights, and labs.
• Performs delegated procedures such as glucose monitoring, EKGs, venipuncture.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, and procedures.
• Maintains supplies, equipment and a safe patient-care environment.
• Responds to patient needs and emergencies with compassionate care.
