Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with Virginia license or multi-state privilege.
• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience; at least 1 year in the previous 5 years in long-term care.
• Ability to complete certification for train the trainer and recertify every 3 years.
• Ability to communicate effectively electronically.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in classroom, Zoom, or online environments.
• Plan, organize, teach, and provide feedback to students to promote learning outcomes.
• Engage students outside class via office hours and provide timely feedback on mastery of outcomes.
• Deliver instruction aligned with learning outcomes and assess student learning.
