Job summary

United Future is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (RN) in Fair Lawn, NJ for a part-time role (20 hours/week). You will supervise clinical care, administer medications, and coordinate home health services, balancing direct care with care management. The position requires NJ RN licensure and BSN or related field, with at least 2 years in community/home health.

Ideal candidates will have valid driver’s license, strong English communication, and ability to work in home and assisted living settings.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• BSN or related health field with 2+ years RN experience in community/home health.
• Experience delivering direct nursing services in home environments and assisted living facilities; familiar with NJ rules and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.
• Strong English communication skills and physical capacity for direct care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document clients’ biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs; deliver care per standards.
• Administer and document prescribed medications and perform treatments per Plan of Care.
• Coordinate scheduling for clients’ appointments and therapies; maintain productivity.
• Interpret health status and report changes to the Director of Nursing and physician.
• Adhere to infection control, HIPAA, and safety guidelines; maintain records and timecards.
• Support quality improvement activities and report to the Director of Nursing.
