Job summary

VitalCheck Wellness Inc. in South Texas is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner for a part-time role with two clinic days per month across locations near Falfurrias/Encino and Kingsville/Riviera.

You will conduct preventive evaluations, review results, provide education, and coordinate follow-up care with employees onsite. The role requires Texas NP licensing with FNP certification and BLS/ACLS, venipuncture skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas NP license.
• FNP-C or FNP-BC certification required.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• Prior outpatient family/primary care NP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review histories, medications and concerns.
• Perform preventive and routine evaluations.
• Evaluate/manage diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol and related conditions.
• Prescribe medications when appropriate and within scope.
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens.
• Review lab results and provide follow-up guidance.
• Educate patients and document electronically with accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
