Job summary

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide onsite care at two workplace clinics in South Texas. The role is 2 recurring weekday clinical days per month, with one day near Encino and one near Riviera, each about 8 hours, with a long-term commitment.

You will review histories, perform exams, manage chronic conditions, and prescribe within scope, with emphasis on independent work and excellent patient service; candidates must have TX NP license, FNP certification, BLS/ACLS, and

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas NP license.
• Current FNP, FNP-C, or FNP-BC certification.
• BLS and/or ACLS CPR certification.
• Background in family practice, internal medicine, or primary care.
• Prior Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Must be comfortable prescribing medications and reviewing laboratory results.
• Must be able to perform phlebotomy/venipuncture.
• Strong computer and electronic documentation skills.
• Strong communication and patient-service skills.
• Ability to work independently in an onsite clinical environment.
• Must bring a personal laptop/tablet to each shift for charting.
• Must be able to reliably commute to both South Texas clinic locations.
• Candidates must meet Texas physician-delegation and prescriptive-authority requirements; employer does not provide a delegating physician.

About the Opportunity

The clinics support employees working within a large working wildlife ranch environment, with one recurring clinical day near the Encino area and one in the Riviera area each month.

This is a long-term opportunity with a small, predictable monthly commitment.
