Job summary

VitalCheck Wellness Inc. seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide recurring onsite care at two workplace clinics in South Texas, alternating locations near Falfurrias/Encino and Kingsville/Riviera.

This part-time role involves two clinic days per month, focusing on preventive care, labs and employee education. The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted Texas NP license with FNP certification (FNP-C or FNP-BC) and current BLS or ACLS.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas NP license.
• FNP certification (FNP-C or FNP-BC) required.
• Current BLS or ACLS certification.
• Experience in family/primary care or outpatient settings.
• Ability to perform venipuncture confidently and independently.

Responsibilities

• Review health histories and current concerns.
• Perform preventive and routine health evaluations.
• Evaluate and manage diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, and related conditions.
• Prescribe medications within scope when appropriate.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples.
• Review and interpret laboratory results.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care guidance.
• Document care accurately in electronic records.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards.
