Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque is seeking a Nurse Assistant for a part-time, day shift position. The NA will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting patients with daily living activities and supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in line with MercyOne’s mission.

Applicants should meet Iowa CNA-related requirements, be at least 16, and may need BLS within 30 days. Local registry eligibility and relevant certifications are considered, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be active on the Iowa registry (required for long term care nurse assistants in Iowa, and nurse assistants who work in Illinois or Wisconsin are required to be on their respective state’s registry)
• Show proof of completion of 75-hour CNA course
• Show proof of EMT Certification
• Show proof of formally holding (and completed training for) a medical occupation specialty from the military (current or former)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
