Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center is hiring a Nurse Assistant to join our care team. The NA provides holistic, compassionate patient support, assisting with activities of daily living under RN supervision.

Day shift, full time 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week), weekend and holiday rotation. Must meet Iowa CNA registry or 75-hour CNA course; BLS within 30 days; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age; in some areas may require 18.
• Must meet one of the following: Iowa registry, 75-hour CNA course, EMT Certification, or formal military medical occupation training.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
• Provide holistic, compassionate care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Support the care team and adhere to MercyOne policies and procedures.
