Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time RN/APRN to cover long-term rehab and skilled nursing patients in Sheboygan. The role includes assessing patients, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, and delivering age-appropriate care. Flexibility to cover PTO with a schedule between 0700–1900 is preferred.

Applicants must hold active RN and APRN licenses with board certification, and be proficient in EMR documentation and billing practices. Prior experience in nursing supervision is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and APRN certification in state(s) of practice; DEA registration prior to hire.
• Interdisciplinary team involvement and strong communication with patients and families.
• Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and appropriate age-specific care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop/adjust treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education.
