CHATHAM RESCUE SQUAD INC is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Coordinator to support the day-to-day financial operations of our nonprofit organization. This role handles accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, grant tracking, and financial reporting using QuickBooks and ADP payroll administration.

The position is part-time (15-20 hours/week) at $30.00 per hour, with supervision from the Chief of Operations and Executive Director and a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and

Qualificações

• Minimum of three years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Record deposits, donations, grants, and other revenue.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including budget-to-actual analyses.
• Monitor grant expenditures and restricted funds.
• Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with ADP and payroll-related records.
• Record payroll journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with annual budget preparation and financial planning.
• Prepare documentation for annual audits and Form 990.
