Job summary

Sound Physicians seeks a nocturnist nurse practitioner for Bridgeton, Missouri, part-time, with 7p-7a night coverage and about 15 night shifts per month. You will work with two nocturnist physicians to manage admissions and respond to rapid responses and stroke alerts during overnight hours.

The role involves highly complex, high-acuity cases with 24/7 in-house specialty support and a collaborative hospital team. Benefits begin on day one; malpractice tail coverage is provided.

Qualifications

• NP board certification required; acute care training strongly preferred.
• Hospitalist NP experience preferred; inpatient RN ICU experience ideal for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with two nocturnist physicians on night shift admissions and rapid responses.
• Respond to stroke alerts and manage high-acuity patients during overnight hours.
• Operate in a setting with 24/7 in-house specialty support and a closed ICU.
