The ideal candidate holds NP board certification, with acute care training preferred and hospital-based experience required. Inpatient RN ICU experience is a plus for new grads.

Qualifications

• NP board certification required.
• Acute Care training strongly preferred.
• Experience as an NP in a hospital setting required; hospitalist NP preferred.
• For a new grad NP, inpatient RN ICU experience ideal.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with two nocturnist physicians on the night shift.
• Manage admissions and respond to rapid responses and stroke alerts.
• Provide patient care during 7p–7a overnight coverage with a block schedule.
