We are hiring for aPart-Time Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner. ANocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration

At Bridgeton, our strong, collaborative team includes 28 physicians and 4 APPs at SSM Health DePaul.

We also have the support of three clinical performance nurses, one hospital coordinator, and one program manager.

As a team, we value our collaboration with the nursing staff and specialists throughout the hospital. Patients are our top priority, and we do a great job of always keeping that focus at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Nurse practitioner board certification required.
• Acute Care Training strongly preferred.
• Experience as an NP in a hospital setting is required, with experience as a hospitalist NP preferred.
• For a new grad NP, experience as an inpatient RN within the ICU or acute care settings is ideal.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

This role is for a full-timenocturnist 7p-7a coverage with the expectation of approximately 15-night shifts per month. Block schedule.

We welcome thechallenge of highly complex cases.Our ICU is closed.Procedures and codes are not required, and we are grateful for 24/7 in-house specialty support in all but just a few specialty areas.
