Job summary

Sound Physicians seeks a nocturnist nurse practitioner for Bridgeton, Missouri, part-time, with 7p-7a night coverage and about 15 night shifts per month. You will work with two nocturnist physicians to manage admissions and respond to rapid responses and stroke alerts during overnight hours.

Qualifications

We are hiring for aPart-Time Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner. ANocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

• At Bridgeton, our strong, collaborative team includes 28 physicians and 4 APPs at SSM Health DePaul.We also have the support of three clinical performance nurses, one hospital coordinator, and one program manager.
• As a team, we value our collaboration with the nursing staff and specialists throughout the hospital. Patients are our top priority, and we do a great job of always keeping that focus at the forefront.
• Excellent subspecialty support.

Qualifications:

• Nurse practitioner board certification required. Acute Care Training strongly preferred.
• Experience as an NP in a hospital setting is required, with experience as a hospitalist NP preferred.
• For a new grad NP, experience as an inpatient RN within the ICU or acute care settings is ideal.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

• This role is for a full-timenocturnist 7p-7a coverage with the expectation of approximately 15-night shifts per month.
• Block schedule.

• This position will collaborate with two nocturnist physicians on the night shift, managing admissions and responding to rapid responses and stroke alerts.
