Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time night shift. The role provides direct patient care under RN supervision in a supportive nursing team within a correctional health setting.

Ideal candidates hold a nursing degree, an active LPN license in the state, CPR certification, and prefer 1 year of clinic experience. Comprehensive benefits, career growth, and a mission-driven culture are offered. Residency in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
• Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assesses patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in Health Care Unit and housing units, contributing to treatment planning.
• Implements treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administering medications (including IV therapy if certified) and tests.
• Collaborates in controlled substance counts at shift start, follows safety guidelines and responds to health emergencies.
• Assists in medical or minor surgical procedures, implements nutrition and therapeutic diets, documents encounters using SOAP charting.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and training, supporting ongoing professional development.

Education
