Job summary

Wellpath in Arkansas seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to contribute to patient care under RN supervision in a correctional/healthcare setting. You will assess patients, administer medications, and participate in care plans and documentation.

Evening/night shifts, 12-hour rotations, and opportunities for training accompany a competitive hourly wage. A valid LPN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assesses patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions and contributes to treatment planning.
• Administers medications, including IV therapy if certified, and performs diagnostic tests.
• Collaborates in controlled substance counts and adheres to safety protocols.
• Assists in medical or minor surgical procedures, implements nutrition plans, and documents nursing encounters.
• Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions to ensure high-quality patient care.
