Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time night shifts at Peoria County Jail. In this role, you will assess and provide patient care under the supervision of RNs, contributing to treatment plans and ensuring high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree and some clinic experience, along with current licensure. The position offers competitive pay and a chance to make a difference in the lives of underserved patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
• Must have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social dimensions.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate in controlled substance counts at the beginning of shifts.
• Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.
