Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Observation Unit. The role supports RN staff, performs essential patient care tasks, and helps ensure patient comfort and safety during 7:00am-7:30pm shifts with every third weekend/holiday track.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
• Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
