Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (0.6 FTE) for night shifts (7pm-7am) in York, PA. This role provides beginner-practitioner level nursing care, acting as primary nurse for units and coordinating care with multiple disciplines.

The position includes requirement for BLS and RN licensure; ACLS/PALS considerations may apply per unit. Eligible for shift differential and weekend rotation as specified.

Qualifications

• Begins at the beginner practitioner level and uses nursing process to plan care.
• Collaborates with disciplines for patient and family-centered care.
• May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates direct care as the primary nurse for patients on the unit.
• Administers prescribed treatments and medications safely and independently.
• Organizes time based on patient condition and workload; communicates needs for handoffs.
• Documents patient responses and progress using EMR and flow sheets.
• Participates in continuous performance improvement and SDM activities.
• Collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, and other team members.
