Job summary

WellSpan York Hospital seeks a professional nurse at the beginner practitioner level to deliver patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process and hospital standards. You will act as the primary nurse for assigned patients and coordinate care with other disciplines.

The position is part-time (48 hours biweekly), with weekday and every third weekend coverage from 7 am to 7 pm, including rotating holidays. Sign-on bonus eligible and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• RN license required; Multi-State license preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care as the primary nurse for assigned patients.
• Safely administer prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions.
• Synthesize patient data to develop outcome-driven plans.
• Coordinate care and ensure safe handoffs across disciplines.
• Document patient responses and progress in EMR; monitor indicators.
• Promote safety and quality; participate in SDM and committees.
