Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a part-time RN to provide professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level. You will act as a primary nurse for patients on the unit, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and adapt to unit-specific skills.

The role requires ARNP-level attention to patient and family-centered care, with BLS certification on hire and a focus on safety and quality through teamwork and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Nurse must have diploma or associate degree (education requirement).
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse upon hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate direct patient care based on nursing process and hospital standards.
• Safely administer prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions.
• Organize and prioritize time based on patient condition and workload.
• Identify patient needs for safe handoffs and collaborate with the care team.
• Document patient responses and progress, using EMR and flow sheets.
