Qualifications

• CNA certification or current enrollment in nursing program.
• CPR recognition by American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• Minimum 90% on annual mandatory Health and Safety Training quizzes.
• Unit based recognition for Capillary Blood Glucose Monitoring.
• High school diploma required; one year of college or nursing education or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Takes and records vital signs for adults/neonates.
• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens.
• Operates nurse call and monitors patient safety.
• Prepares patients for meals and assists with feeding as needed.
• Delivers patient care on the unit and supports RN in procedures.
• Transports patients and supplies during urgent situations.
• Maintains clean, safe patient environments and documents observations.
