Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Visitor Check In in Twinsburg, OH to monitor access points, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service in a logistics environment.

You will work Sat and Sun from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM, performing patrols, recording visitor activity, and responding to incidents while maintaining a welcoming, secure environment for clients and employees.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal complies with laws regarding criminal histories.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local regulations.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and driver entry records, and help control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, and access-control issues accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
