Qualifications

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees per site procedures.
• Demonstrate attention to detail in access-control processes and records.
• Communicate effectively with site contacts and staff to maintain security.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping-related access authorizations, and maintain visitor and contractor records in accordance with site requirements.
• Control access to the facility, vehicle areas, and restricted operational spaces; report unauthorized access attempts and other security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
