Responsibilities include patrols, enforcing parking rules, and providing professional support to law enforcement as needed. Minimum HS diploma; law enforcement experience preferred; valid driver’s license and basic PC skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Law enforcement education preferred.
• At least one year of experience with public or military law enforcement agencies preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• PC skills required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center buildings and grounds on foot; vehicles cover large parking areas.
• Responds to Code calls using fastest, most direct means and follows policy.
• Enforces hospital parking regulations and policy.
• Maintains order and security, monitors premises, and assists law enforcement as needed.
• Provides coaching and feedback to support the mission and safety initiatives.
• Performs duties with discretion and professionalism reflecting MercyOne North Iowa.
