Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA, seeks a part-time nurse assistant for night shifts, reporting to a registered nurse. You will provide basic patient care, assist with hygiene, nutrition, and activities of daily living, and support a patient-focused care team.

Must hold geriatric aid certification and be active on the Iowa Nurse Aide registry, or be enrolled/graduate in relevant nursing programs. Education Assistance and Day 1 benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Completion of geriatric aid certification and State of Iowa Nurse Aide registry listing as “Active” or eligible.
OR Currently enrolled in an A.D.N., B.S.N., program with successful completion of first semester of A.D.N. program, OR first year completion of nursing courses in BSN OR graduate of an A.D.N., Diploma, BSN or LPN program.

Responsibilities
