Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a MercyOne Health System hospital, is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant for night shift. Full-time position with a 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week). Candidates must have CPI certification within 6 months of hire, English proficiency, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• CPI certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Must be able to read, write and/or speak English.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Proactively ensure and maintain patient safety under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Observes and monitors safety and comfort of non-suicidal, suicidal and patients who require frequent or continual observation and contact, due to psychiatric, medical and/or safety reasons.
