Job summary
Corewell Health Sleep Center in Southfield is a 16-bed outpatient facility serving patients of all ages, including infants. Our team includes board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners for adults and children, with dedicated pediatric rooms and daytime sleep study capabilities.
We deliver home sleep apnea testing and PAP/NAP compliance diagnostics. A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the Medical Director to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders,
Qualifications
- Formal training in polysomnography program and/or enrolled in an accredited program.
- Enrolled in or completed A-STEP online Self Study Modules.
- All staff must complete 10 hours/year of sleep CE credits on average.
- 1 year of relevant experience; 1–3 years preferred.
- BRPT/RPSGT/CPSGT or equivalent credential required at hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic sleep services.
- Provide patient care and education throughout studies and testing.
- Possess ability to supervise other staff as needed.
